Smart Start of Brunswick County’s Raising A Reader and Parents As Teachers programs would like to thank you for investing in Books for At-Risk Children in North Carolina. Your donation has provided books for children from birth to two. We have been helping parents with young children understand the value of reading to children beginning at birth and "book cuddling".
Evidence shows that the earlier children are introduced to books, the more likely they are to be lifelong readers. Presently in Brunswick County, North Carolina, Raising A Reader serves children ages 3 and 4. We can now extend this wonderful opportunity to the youngest members of our community who have limited exposure to literacy experiences. Our sincere thanks.
