The Covid 19 crisis emphasizes the need to re-think the way many companies conduct their business. This project will finance 10 scholarships to support students who choose to participate in a transitional enterpreneurship project (societal, environmental, digital, technological, organizational) in addition to continuing their studies in Grenoble INP Engineering and Management Institute. These scholarships will allow beneficiaries to focus on their project rather than doing odd jobs to survive.
The Covid 19 sanitary crisis and the associated economic crisis lets graduates with no job and companies close to bankruptcy. Re-thinking the way companies operate, the products and services they deliver, their supply chain, their environmental impact is critical to their survival. Small and medium-size companies need external support to go through such transitional projects; they don't have the expertise nor the bandwidth and they need a fresh external look to navigate such transitions.
The Grenoble INP engineering and management institute participates in the innovation chain by setting up tools and services that enable its teacher-researchers, students and PhD students to bring transitional projects to life, and is actively supporting the most promising among them. For students to carry out high value-added and meaningful projects, they need to dedicate all their time and energy to their project. The scholarships will allow them to cover their basic needs (food, housing, etc.)
The project will enable Grenoble INP graduates to develop their entrepreneurial spirit on major transitional topics (societal, environmental, technological, organizational, digital) that have to be implemented in order to live in a sustainable world. The small and medium size companies that are supported by Grenoble INP students in their transitional projects have a much greater chance to survive and no need to reduce their workforce.
