Dear Friends and Supporters,
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has shown interest and given to this project. The donations received so far are not yet enough to start the planned activities, but our preparation continues. The need for this project remains urgent as food insecurity continues to worsen across Nigeria, especially for women in rural communities.
Right now, millions of families are struggling to feed themselves. Rising food prices, insecurity, and unpredictable weather have made farming very difficult. Many rural women—who produce most of the staple foods in Nigeria—do not have access to improved seeds, tools, or small loans. Without this support, their farms produce little, leaving their families with little to eat and nothing to sell.
Our project aims to equip 500 women farmers with seeds, hand tools, and small grants to grow food and improve household nutrition. Each woman will also receive basic training on crop management, safe storage, and nutrition practices to reduce waste and hunger. These activities will help them produce more food for their families and improve income through sales in local markets.
Your donation and supports can help a rural woman grow food, feed her children, and build a more secure future for her family.
Kind regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
