Many rural communities in Ghana lack access to clean and reliable drinking water, forcing families to rely on unsafe sources. This project will construct durable boreholes to provide safe, clean water-improving health, reducing disease, and easing the daily burden on women and children.
In rural areas, limited access to clean water leads to waterborne diseases, poor hygiene, and long hours spent fetching water from unsafe sources. Women and children are most affected, often walking long distances daily, exposing them to health risks and limiting education and productivity.
By providing reliable access to clean water within communities, this project eliminates dependence on unsafe sources, reduces disease, and improves daily living conditions.
This project will create lasting access to safe water, improve public health, enhance school attendance, and strengthen community resilience-laying the foundation for long-term development in rural Ghana.
