Dear Donors,
Thank you for your interest in the Bring Christmas Joy to Returned IDPs After 10yrs project. At this time, no donations have been received, so preparations for the planned Christmas support have not yet begun.
After many years of displacement, families are slowly returning to their communities with very little to restart their lives. Homes are empty, resources are scarce, and many are still adjusting to life outside the camps they once depended on.
For many of the children, this will be their first Christmas in their homeland. Yet, without support, there may be no meals, no clothing, and no moment to mark the day. What should be a time of joy may pass quietly without any sign of celebration.
This project is designed to provide meals, clothing, and small gifts to 750 returned families, along with a simple community gathering where they can come together and share the moment.
A small act of kindness during this season can bring comfort and help families feel a sense of belonging again. It also offers children a chance to experience joy in a place they now call home.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this Christmas can bring warmth and relief to these families.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
