2026: A year for growth and empowerment

By MasPorTIC Team | Project Leader

Project Report: 2025 was about caring; 2026 is about growth.

Our project has maintained donor momentum. Last year, we finished with 90% of the goal. It matters because it signals both donor confidence and the viability of scaling a farmer-focused digital inclusion model that combines training, tools, and local accompaniment rather than one-off device delivery.

Institutional progress and annual assembly

We want to share some key messages for 2026. First, a conviction that technology should “listen,” connect territories, and open opportunities where they did not previously exist; second, a 2030 vision in which Más por TIC becomes a Latin American reference for making rural talent visible; and third, a stronger governance footprint through participation on the board of AGTECH Colombia, promoting ecosystem formalisation. Taken together, these are relevant annual-assembly-level highlights because they show a shift from project execution alone toward ecosystem leadership, institutional positioning, and long-range strategic clarity.

This institutional direction is also consistent with the organisation’s public mission and impact narrative. Más por TIC presents itself not simply as a training provider, but as a social organisation that drives rural transformation through technology, education, and entrepreneurship, connecting knowledge with territorial development. That framing is important for donor and board reporting because it shows that the farmer project is not isolated; it is part of a larger rural innovation platform.

Relevance of continuous support to Contigo Conectados

A second major strength is the continuity of Más por TIC’s support to Contigo Conectados.Maintaining continuous support to Contigo Conectados is not only socially valuable, but strategically smart: it keeps Más por TIC embedded in a visible, multi-year digital inclusion platform that can strengthen brand recognition, methodology refinement, and partnership credibility.

For this report, the implication is clear: ongoing support to Contigo Conectados should be treated as a complementary pillar to the farmer project. While the GlobalGiving initiative focuses on rural producers, Contigo Conectados expands organisational learning in digital literacy, safe internet use, community mobilisation, and multi-stakeholder delivery. Those capabilities can be transferred back into rural programmes, especially for intergenerational training and community facilitation.

For 2026, the strongest strategy would be to organise Más por TIC’s work around two connected pillars.

Deepen the farmer transformation model behind the GlobalGiving project. The project already promises specialised knowledge, technology resources, training, and information for 550 farmers. In 2026, that offer should be sharpened into a clearer pathway: digital basics, productive use cases, commercial visibility, and follow-up accompaniment. This would help move from beneficiary counting to measurable livelihood outcomes.

Second, boost Contigo Conectados as a capability platform, not just a partnership. Because the programme has demonstrated scale Más por TIC should systematise what it is learning about community facilitation, digital safety, inclusive pedagogy, and targeted outreach to women, caregivers, older adults, and schools. These lessons could strengthen both urban and rural programmes and make Más por TIC more valuable to future corporate and public-sector partners.

Cross-cutting these pillars, the 2026 strategy should add a stronger layer of measurement and storytelling. Más por TIC already has credible impact indicators and a compelling 2030 vision. The next step is to connect those numbers to outcome narratives: farmer income opportunities, improved digital confidence, stronger local organisations, safer internet environments, and the emergence of community-led spaces like the Casa. This would also align well with the institutional tone seen in annual-reporting materials and assembly-related messaging, which already emphasise purpose, territorial connection, and long-term projection.

Conclusion

Overall, the project to bring digital technology to Colombian farmers is best understood as part of a broader organisational evolution. Más por TIC is combining direct rural support, partnership-based digital education, and place-based community infrastructure. The farmer project remains the core social promise; Contigo Conectados provides continuity, scale, and methodology; and Casa de Superación Campesina offers a tangible next frontier for territorial impact. With a sharper 2026 strategy focused on integration, measurement, and flagship execution, Más por TIC would be well-positioned to convert promising projects into a stronger platform for rural transformation in Colombia.
