As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the most vulnerable families, our team distributed cash assistance to Mrs. Radiya, who lives with her elderly husband in Suran City, northern Syria, amid increasingly harsh living conditions.
Mrs. Radiya and her husband face severe financial hardship due to limited income, rising living costs, and additional health-related expenses associated with old age. Meeting even the most basic daily needs has become a constant struggle. This cash assistance was provided to help ease part of this burden, enabling the family to cover urgent necessities such as food, medication, and other essential living requirements.
The assistance was delivered following a careful field assessment to ensure that support reaches those most in need, in line with clear principles of fairness and transparency, while preserving the dignity and privacy of the beneficiary. Mrs. Radiya expressed her deep gratitude for this humanitarian support, which brought her a sense of relief and reassurance during a very difficult time.
This intervention would not have been possible without your generous support and continued trust, which remain the cornerstone of our ability to reach vulnerable families and stand by them.
