Bring Relief and Hope to Families in Gaza & Syria

Dear Valued Donors,

Between 1 December and 15 December, and thanks to your continued generosity and trust, Amal Al Umma Organization successfully implemented a series of humanitarian interventions to support displaced and vulnerable families across several camps in the Gaza Strip. Despite the extremely challenging conditions on the ground, our teams worked tirelessly to ensure timely and dignified assistance reached those most in need.

Below is a summary of the distributions carried out during this period:

Warm Meals Program
From 1–15 December, we provided hot meals to 1,000 families in:

• Makka Camp
• Al Zahraa Camp
• Seventh Camp
  (Gaza Strip)

This intervention addressed urgent food needs for families lacking access to cooking facilities and basic nutrition.

Clean Water Distribution
During the same period, safe drinking water was delivered to 915 families in:

• Makka Camp
• Abu Jmeza Camp
• Al Zahraa Camp
  (Gaza Strip)

Access to clean water remains a critical priority, and this support played a vital role in safeguarding public health.

Winter Relief: Blankets & Rain Protection
Between 1–15 December, we distributed winter blankets and waterproof rain tarpaulins to 100 families in:

• Al Mukhtar Camp
  (Central Gaza Strip)

This assistance helped protect displaced families from cold weather and rain, improving living conditions inside tents.

The young girl Suad and her siblings are facing a harsh reality after losing their family’s main provider. Daily life has become a constant struggle to secure the most basic necessities of a dignified life, deeply affecting their psychological well-being and sense of stability.

For a long time, the family endured severe financial hardship and the absence of any stable source of income, making it extremely difficult to provide food, clothing, and healthcare, while also raising serious concerns about the children’s ability to continue their education. Despite her young age, Suad carried heavy emotional burdens and responsibilities beyond her years.

With the start of the orphan sponsorship provided by generous donors, the family’s situation began to change in meaningful ways. The sponsorship helped secure essential needs on a regular basis, restored a sense of stability, and ensured that the children could remain in school without interruption.

Beyond material support, this assistance brought back feelings of safety and reassurance, allowing Suad and her siblings to reclaim parts of their childhood and face the future with renewed hope.

Your humanitarian support represents a true turning point in the lives of this family, proving that sponsorship is not temporary aid, but an investment in children’s lives and futures.
