Amid the harsh humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in northern Syria, our field teams at Amal Alumma continue to implement vital relief programs targeting the most vulnerable households. Recently, we were able to provide urgent financial assistance to Mrs. Khawla, who lives with her husband and two young children in one of the displacement shelters in the city of Souran.
The family suffers from severe financial instability, as the husband struggles to secure any stable job due to the deteriorating economic situation in the region. This has directly affected their ability to obtain basic necessities such as food, medicine, and clothing—especially with rising prices and the scarcity of work opportunities.
This financial support came at a critical time, giving Khawla’s family much-needed relief. It enabled them to purchase essential items and meet the basic needs of their two children, who are growing up in conditions far from what any child deserves. Mrs. Khawla expressed her deep gratitude to everyone who extended a helping hand during these difficult days.
