Dear Donor
In northern Syria, the suffering of orphaned children goes far beyond the loss of one or both parents. It extends into deep psychological wounds caused by years of conflict, displacement, and constant fear. While financial sponsorship programs help meet essential needs such as food, clothing, and education, psychosocial support remains a critical component that is equally indispensable.
Children enrolled in sponsorship programs often carry experiences far beyond their young age—loss, trauma, and a persistent sense of insecurity. If left unaddressed, these challenges can negatively affect their emotional development, behavior, learning abilities, and social integration.
This is where psychosocial support programs—integrated into our sponsorship efforts—play a vital role. Through these programs, we work to:
Psychosocial support does not only heal the present—it builds a more stable and balanced future. It strengthens children’s self-confidence, improves their academic performance, and empowers them to become active members of their communities despite the hardships they have faced.
Thanks to your continued support, we have been able to reach an increasing number of children and provide this vital form of care. However, the need remains immense, with many more children still waiting for a chance to heal and regain their sense of safety.
Your ongoing contributions do more than sustain sponsorship programs—they give children a real opportunity to begin again, emotionally and humanely. Thank you for not only supporting their lives, but helping rebuild them.
