In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, many displaced families continue to face severe economic challenges. Elderly people often face even greater difficulties in meeting their basic needs, particularly with limited sources of income and the rising cost of living.
As part of AMAL ALUMMA ORGANIZATION’s efforts to reach the most vulnerable members of displaced communities, we provided financial assistance to Salha, an elderly woman, to help her meet some of her essential needs and ease part of the burden she faces in her daily life.
For an elderly person living in displacement, even a modest financial contribution can make a meaningful difference. It can provide greater flexibility to secure food and other essential necessities while preserving a sense of dignity and independence despite difficult circumstances.
We believe that standing beside elderly people and the most vulnerable families is an essential part of our humanitarian responsibility. Your support enables us to reach more people who urgently need assistance.
Thank you to every donor who helps ease the hardship of displaced families and turns generosity into a humanitarian message that reaches those who need it most.
