Dear Donor
Over the past week, heavy rainfall has severely worsened the humanitarian situation in displacement camps across northern Syria, exposing the fragile living conditions that families have endured for years. Floodwaters have inundated hundreds of tents, while dirt roads have turned into deep mud, restricting movement and making it extremely difficult for aid to reach those in need.
Thousands of families are now living in even harsher conditions, as many have lost what little belongings they had due to water leaking into their shelters. Mattresses, clothing, and food supplies have been damaged, while the lack of adequate heating has intensified the suffering. Children and the elderly remain the most vulnerable, facing increased risks of illness due to the severe cold and damp conditions.
In response to this escalating crisis, our organization is preparing an urgent humanitarian intervention targeting the most affected camps. Our plan includes distributing emergency shelter materials such as insulation sheets, mattresses, and blankets, in addition to food baskets and clean water, to ensure families can meet their most basic needs.
We are also working toward more sustainable solutions where possible, including improving drainage systems within the camps and strengthening basic infrastructure to reduce the impact of future weather-related disasters.
Our ability to respond quickly depends entirely on your generous support. Your donations enable us to reach the most vulnerable families at the right time and alleviate their suffering during these harsh conditions.
We sincerely thank you for your continued trust and solidarity, and we urge you to keep supporting these urgent humanitarian efforts—so that together, we can stand by displaced families in northern Syria when they need it most.
