Dear Donor
The two children, Ahmed and Khalil, live with their parents in a makeshift tent in the rural area of Souran in northern Syria, where the family faces extremely harsh living conditions. Life in these informal tents offers neither safety nor warmth, and as winter approaches, families like theirs struggle even more with the cold, the lack of income, and the difficulty of securing enough food.
Ahmed and Khalil’s family suffers from a severe shortage of basic necessities. Their parents face great hardship in providing daily meals for their children, especially with rising prices and the scarcity of job opportunities in the region. With the arrival of winter, securing warm, nutritious food becomes even more critical to protect the children from illness and malnutrition.
In this situation, the food basket distributed thanks to your generous donations made a real difference in the family’s life. It helped cover their essential food needs for a good period of time, giving the parents a sense of temporary stability and bringing smiles back to the faces of Ahmed and Khalil.
Your support was not just about providing food—it was an act of humanity that brought warmth and hope to a family living in one of the harshest displacement environments.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors, whose contributions enable vulnerable families to endure these difficult conditions and allow children to live with dignity despite all hardships.
