In the midst of ongoing displacement and the severe shortage of clean drinking water in devastated Gaza, families continue to struggle to secure even the most basic necessities of daily life. Among these families is the family of young Fadi, who lives in Makka Camp under difficult conditions where children are deprived of the simplest forms of comfort and joy.
During our clean water distribution last week, our team witnessed a touching moment. Fadi approached our staff and asked if he could help fill the water containers with his small hands. For him, this simple act was a form of rare entertainment—something most children in Gaza have lost amid destruction, fear, and the collapse of basic services. His bright smile reflected a joy that children here seldom experience.
Thanks to your generous contributions, we were able to deliver safe, clean drinking water to Fadi’s family and dozens of other families in the camp, easing a heavy burden during this critical water crisis.
Your continued support gives these families strength and offers children moments of safety and happiness they desperately need.
