Dear Donor,
In Makka Camp in Gaza City, families are living under extremely harsh humanitarian conditions, suffering from a severe shortage of safe drinking water. The brutal war, which has continued for two years, has destroyed most of the infrastructure, including water networks, turning access to the most basic necessities of life into a daily struggle—especially for children.
During our field teams’ distribution of clean drinking water in the camp, we met Haitham, a young boy living with his mother and his brother Hatem in a modest tent. It was a simple scene in appearance, yet deeply painful in meaning. Hatem, the older brother, was carrying heavy water containers from the distribution point back to their tent, while Haitham waited quietly beside the few containers we were able to provide, watching and waiting as if his brother’s return carried a moment of temporary safety for their family.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide safe drinking water to this family and many others who are suffering, easing part of a daily hardship they face with every new day. What you gave was not just water—it was life, reassurance, and a message of hope in the midst of immense hardship.
The continuation of these humanitarian efforts depends on your ongoing support. The need remains urgent, and the children of Gaza are still waiting for compassionate hands to reach out to them.
Thank you for being a reason to quench thirst, restore hope, and make a real difference in the lives of those who have nothing but patience.
