Thanks to your generous humanitarian support, our team was able to provide urgent financial assistance to Fatima, a widowed mother living with her three children in Nariman Orphans Camp in northern Syria, after she lost her husband in an airstrike while he was returning from work.
Since that tragic moment, Fatima has been forced to become both a mother and a father to her three children, carrying the full responsibility of caring for them and meeting their basic needs alone, without a stable source of income and under extremely harsh living conditions inside the camp.
This financial assistance helped ease the family’s daily burdens, enabling them to secure essential necessities such as food, medicine, and basic supplies for the children, providing a measure of stability and dignity during an incredibly difficult time.
Beyond its material value, this support sends a powerful message of compassion and solidarity to widowed mothers, reassuring them that they are not alone in facing loss, displacement, and hardship.
