Food insecurity continues to rise across both Gaza and northern Syria. Ongoing conflict, repeated displacement, economic instability, and sharply rising food prices are placing enormous pressure on already vulnerable families. For many households, income opportunities are either extremely limited or completely unavailable, leaving them dependent on humanitarian assistance to meet their most basic needs.

In Gaza, restrictions and economic collapse have made even essential food items increasingly difficult to access. In northern Syria, displaced families living in camps and fragile communities face similar challenges, with little stability and few sustainable livelihood options. For countless mothers, the daily struggle is not about long-term planning — it is about how to provide a single meal for their children.

In response to these growing needs, we are expanding our food distribution efforts. We are prioritizing widows, orphaned children, elderly individuals without caregivers, and families with no reliable source of income. Each food basket we distribute contains essential staples designed to sustain a household and reduce the immediate pressure of food insecurity.
