Project Report | Feb 25, 2026
Distribution of Food Baskets to Elderly Woman Aisha in Al-Malham Camp, Northern Syria During Ramadan

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Valued Donors,

Greetings,

We would like to share with you a report on one of our recent initiatives during Ramadan, where we were able to provide a food basket to Aisha, an elderly woman living alone in Al-Malham Camp, Northern Syria. Aisha lost both her husband and son during the war, leaving her alone in extremely difficult conditions, especially with the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the area.

The Story of Aisha:

Aisha is [age] years old and lives in Al-Malham Camp, which houses many families affected by the ongoing conflict. She lost her husband and son during the war, leaving her isolated in a small tent in the camp. Aisha faces severe hardship, struggling to meet her basic needs, especially for food and water. Despite these challenges, Aisha continues to live with patience, hoping for support from kind-hearted people like you.

Details of the Food Basket Distribution:

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide Aisha with a food basket during this blessed month of Ramadan. The basket included essential food items that she requires for her daily sustenance, such as:

  • Rice, lentils, olive oil, sugar, flour, and other staples.
  • Dates and traditional food items that enable Aisha to observe Ramadan with dignity.

The Impact of Your Support on Aisha's Life:

  • Improved Living Conditions: The food basket significantly improved Aisha’s daily life, ensuring she has enough to meet her nutritional needs.

  • Alleviation of Burden: The food basket eased the daily burden of securing food, providing her with peace of mind during this blessed month.

  • Restored Hope: Your donations brought hope back to Aisha’s heart, knowing that there are people who care about her and are working to ease her suffering.

Conclusion

Your generous support has made a meaningful difference in Aisha’s life, making this Ramadan easier and more hopeful for her despite the challenges she faces. Your donations go beyond providing food; they send a message of humanity and solidarity to those suffering in the camps.

We assure you that we will continue providing support to the most vulnerable families in Syria and expanding our efforts to alleviate the hardships of those who have lost everything. Thank you once again for your continuous generosity. May your efforts be blessed.
