Humanitarian Report – Financial Support for an Elderly Man in Northern Syria
In one of the displacement camps in northern Syria lives Hassan, an elderly man who carries the heavy responsibility of caring for his orphaned grandchildren after they lost both their parents in a tragic car accident a few months ago.
Despite his old age, Uncle Hassan goes out every day to work in a construction workshop, doing physically demanding labor just to provide food and basic necessities for his grandchildren who depend entirely on him.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to deliver financial assistance to Uncle Hassan. This support has made a meaningful difference in his life and in the lives of his grandchildren, helping him secure their basic needs and easing some of the heavy burden he carries despite his age.
Such contributions are more than just financial support—they are a source of hope and dignity for families facing extremely difficult circumstances in the camps.
Continuing this project is essential, as many elderly people and vulnerable families in the camps of northern Syria are struggling to survive and urgently need support.
