Humanitarian Report – Orphan Sponsorship for Sara
In one of the displacement camps in northern Syria, the orphan Sara lives without a father, mother, or siblings. The only family she has left is her widowed sister, with whom she lives in the camp under very difficult circumstances.
Sara’s sister also carries deep pain, as she lost her husband and her children in an explosion three years ago. Despite her grief and hardship, she continues to work hard to support herself and to care for Sara, trying to provide the basic necessities of life in the challenging conditions of camp life.
Thanks to your generous support and donations, we were able to provide financial sponsorship for Sara. This assistance has had a meaningful impact on her life, helping to cover some of her basic needs and easing part of the burden on her sister who is responsible for her care.
Supporting an orphan is not only financial assistance; it is a message of compassion and hope, giving a vulnerable child a sense of care, dignity, and security.
Continuing this project is extremely important, as many orphans in the camps of northern Syria live in similar circumstances and depend on such support to meet their basic needs.
