Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide a financial sponsorship to the orphan girl Yara, who lives with her parents in one of the displacement camps in northern Syria.
Yara’s father lost both of his legs as a result of the war, leaving the family in extremely difficult circumstances. With no stable source of income, Yara’s mother works in agricultural fields to provide food and basic necessities for the family.
Despite her young age, Yara sometimes helps her mother with the work in the fields, which unfortunately causes her to miss school on some days. Like many children living in displacement camps, Yara faces daily challenges that no child should have to endure.
Your support through this financial sponsorship is making a real difference in Yara’s life. It helps ease the financial burden on her family and allows Yara a better chance to continue her education and live with dignity.
