In one of the displacement camps in northern Syria, Umm Hala and her orphaned daughter Hala are living a harsh reality burdened by hardship and illness…
Umm Hala, a widow, struggles on her own to provide daily sustenance. She works occasionally in a bakery to support herself and her daughter, but this irregular work is not enough to meet even their most basic needs under such difficult conditions.
What makes their situation even more painful is that young Hala suffers from a severe illness that has left her unable to move. She cannot take care of herself or live a normal childhood like other children, which places an even greater burden on her mother—who is torn between her daughter’s suffering and the weight of poverty.
Amid these harsh circumstances, this small family lives between need and fear, waiting for a helping hand.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide financial assistance to Umm Hala. This support has helped ease their daily struggles, contributed to covering essential needs, and brought a sense of safety and stability back into their lives.
This assistance is not just financial aid—it is a message of compassion and renewed hope for a sick child and a mother exhausted by hardship, and a chance for them to live with dignity.
Your continued support means continued hope for many families facing similar conditions, still waiting for a light in the midst of hardship.
Our deepest thanks and gratitude to you. After God, you are the reason behind easing Hala’s pain and supporting her mother through this difficult time.
May God reward you abundantly and place your generosity in the scale of your good deeds.
