Dear Donor
Amid the ongoing humanitarian crises in northern Syria, orphaned children remain among the most vulnerable groups. Having lost their primary source of support and security at a young age, they are left to face a harsh reality far beyond their years. In this context, the Orphan Sponsorship Program stands out as one of the most impactful humanitarian interventions, creating meaningful and lasting change in their lives.
Orphan sponsorship is not limited to providing monthly financial assistance; rather, it represents a comprehensive system of care that touches multiple aspects of a child’s life. Through this program, children are able to access essential needs such as food, clothing, and education—helping to ease daily hardships and allowing them to live with dignity.
Through our field experience, we have observed clear improvements in the psychological and social well-being of sponsored children. When a child feels supported and cared for, their self-confidence grows, and they begin to look toward the future with renewed hope. Sponsorship also plays a vital role in reducing child labor and school dropout rates, opening doors to education and healthy development.
At the family level, these sponsorships serve as a true lifeline. They enable mothers to meet their children’s needs without resorting to harmful coping mechanisms, and they provide a degree of stability in an environment that lacks even the most basic living conditions.
The true impact of the Orphan Sponsorship Program is not measured solely by financial support, but by the hope it instills in children’s hearts and the brighter future it helps build for an entire generation affected by conflict.
As the number of orphans and their needs continue to grow, the sustainability of these programs depends greatly on your continued support. Every sponsorship carries a powerful humanitarian message—it tells an orphaned child that they are not alone, and that someone, somewhere, truly cares.
Thank you for your continued generosity, which not only transforms the life of a single child but also contributes to building a more compassionate and resilient society.
