Amid the harsh humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in northern Gaza, our relief team continues its efforts to reach the most vulnerable households and provide support that eases their daily struggles. In Salah al-Din Camp in the Al-Maghazi area, where families lack even the most basic necessities of life, we distributed a comprehensive food basket to one of the displaced families.
The image captures the moment the food basket is handed to the head of the household, with his child present—his face reflecting joy and gratitude. This basket, containing essential food items, represents a vital source of sustenance for the family for several days, especially in light of food scarcity and rising prices within the camps.
This simple yet powerful moment reflects the true impact of humanitarian aid. It is not only about providing food, but also about restoring a sense of dignity, care, and reassurance to families exhausted by displacement.
