Dear Donor
In a scene that captures the depth of suffering endured by thousands of children in Gaza, the orphaned child Salha was one of those unforgettable faces—a face marked by the pain of loss, the harshness of hunger, and the weight of deprivation.
During our field visit to Salah Al-Din Camp in Al-Maghazi, northern Gaza, we met Salha, who lives with her mother under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions. Clear signs of exhaustion and fatigue were visible, and malnutrition was evident in her frail body and pale features—a heartbreaking image that reflects a reality beyond words.
Like many displaced families, this household suffers from severe food insecurity and is unable to secure sufficient or balanced daily meals amid ongoing hardship, rising prices, and lack of income. The mother is doing everything she can to ease her daughter’s suffering, yet she remains overwhelmed by circumstances far beyond her control.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to deliver a food basket to this family, containing essential items to help them endure and ease the hunger threatening Salha’s life day after day. The moment they received the assistance was deeply emotional—filled with both pain and hope, as the quiet gratitude in their eyes spoke volumes.
Salha’s case is not an exception, but rather a reflection of the ongoing suffering faced by thousands of orphaned children in Gaza who are in urgent need of sustained support.
Your donations make a real difference—you are not only providing food, but giving life and restoring hope to hearts worn down by hardship.
We extend our deepest gratitude for your compassion and generosity, and we urge you to continue supporting these urgent cases that cannot wait.
