In a forgotten corner of Kafra camp, Mohammed lives a reality far heavier than his young age should bear. His mother struggles to remain strong, his elderly grandmother can barely move, and he stands in between—a child carrying more than he should.
There was little in their tent to relieve their hunger, and meals had gradually diminished until they were nearly nonexistent. When we arrived, the scene needed no explanation; their eyes alone told the whole story.
Delivering bread to Mohammed’s family was not just a distribution of aid—it was a real rescue from a moment on the brink of collapse. We saw his mother’s expression change, and his grandmother breathe in relief, as if this bread had restored a piece of life to them.
