In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, where the pain of loss intersects with the harshness of daily life, our field team reached one of the orphaned children to deliver his monthly sponsorship—an essential source of support for him and his family. In the image, the child holds his sponsorship card, capturing a moment filled with mixed emotions of hardship and hope.
This sponsorship was not merely financial assistance; it directly contributed to securing his basic needs such as food and clothing, and helped his family cope with the heavy burdens they face in the camp. In an environment lacking even the most basic necessities, this support creates a meaningful impact that goes beyond material aid, offering the child a sense of safety and belonging.
Thanks to your generosity, this child is no longer alone in facing these difficult circumstances. He now carries a renewed sense of hope, knowing that someone, somewhere, cares and stands by his side
