In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, young Mazen lives with his mother and his younger brother, Louay, amid difficult living conditions. Like many displaced families, they face daily challenges in securing even their most basic needs.
Through our field team, a food basket was delivered to the family’s home, providing essential food supplies and helping ease some of the financial burden of daily life.
A food basket may seem simple, but for a family struggling to put food on the table, it means so much. It means meals for the family, relief for a mother carrying the responsibility of two children, and the reassurance that someone is standing beside them in their time of need.
We believe humanitarian assistance is about more than providing food. It also carries dignity, hope, and a clear message to displaced families: You are not alone.
As needs continue to grow across the displacement camps of northern Syria, donor support remains essential to reaching more families facing circumstances similar to Mazen’s family.
Thank you to everyone who helps put food on the tables of families in need and gives children like Mazen and Louay a chance to experience a less difficult day.
