In one of the homes in Al-Sadaqa Camp in northern Syria, the child Yasser was waiting, like many other children in the camp, for days that might bring a little relief.
The Amal Alumma Organization team arrived as part of our bread distribution campaign and provided Yasser’s family with a share of bread. As he held the bread in his hands, his face showed the expression of a child who has grown accustomed to difficult circumstances, yet still finds the strength to smile.
Behind that smile is the story of a family struggling to cope, children in need of food, warmth, and care, and days when even the most basic necessities cannot be taken for granted.
The bread we distribute is not simply food assistance; it is direct support for a family struggling to survive, and a chance for a child to feel that their needs and dignity still matter.
We sincerely thank all the donors who contributed to this initiative. Through your generosity, assistance reaches the doorsteps of families, and with it comes a smile to the faces of children like Yasser.
