In Ahtimlat Camp in northern Syria, the orphaned child Omar lives with his family under difficult circumstances, where securing basic necessities has become a daily challenge.
Losing his father has left a deep void in Omar’s life—not only emotionally, but also by leaving his family with responsibilities and burdens that are difficult to manage.
Through our orphan sponsorship program, financial sponsorship was provided to Omar and his family, helping them meet some of their essential needs and easing part of the pressure they face.
Perhaps sponsorship cannot bring Omar’s father back or erase the years of hardship he has endured, but it can tell him something deeply important:
Someone remembers you… someone cares about you… and someone wants to see a better future for you.
Supporting an orphan is not simply about providing financial assistance. It is an investment in a young person with big dreams, a child who deserves to grow up with dignity, safety, and hope.
