BESME INSANI implemented a humanitarian project to provide clean drinking water to 340 displaced families living in camps and vulnerable communities across northern Syria. The initiative aimed to improve access to safe water for families facing severe shortages of clean drinking water.
Many displaced households rely on limited and unsafe water sources that fail to meet their daily needs, exposing children, elderly people, and vulnerable individuals to serious health risks. To address this urgent need, BESME INSANI organized the delivery of safe drinking water to the most vulnerable families, helping improve living conditions and protect public health.
The project was carried out through water tankers that transported clean water to targeted communities following a carefully planned distribution schedule. Field teams supervised the entire process to ensure that water reached registered beneficiaries fairly, efficiently, and with full transparency.
The intervention significantly reduced the daily burden on families who previously struggled to secure safe water for drinking, cooking, and household use. Beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the timely support, emphasizing that access to clean water provided greater safety, dignity, and peace of mind.
Through its water and sanitation programs, BESME INSANI continues to improve access to safe water across northern Syria, believing that clean water is a fundamental human right and an essential element of preserving health and human dignity.
