Bringing Clean Water to Families in Need in Syria

In August, BESME INSANI carried out a clean water distribution in Syria, reaching 700 families affected by war and displacement. For many households, safe water is not guaranteed. It is a need that returns every day and becomes more urgent when services are limited or difficult to access.

When water reaches a family, the day changes, even if only for a moment. A mother can give her children something safe to drink, a family can prepare food with clean water, and a child can feel that someone cares about a simple but vital need. These moments, bring comfort and dignity.

BESME INSANI teams worked to deliver assistance according to household needs, prioritizing vulnerable families. The goal was to ensure that water reached households that needed it and that the distribution was organized respectfully. Humanitarian work begins with recognizing the dignity of every person and responding to their urgent needs.

A total of 700 families benefited from clean water during August, reducing a burden for thousands of people. Behind every family is a mother worried about her children, a father trying to create a safer life, and a child who needs water as much as protection and care.
