Dear Supporters,
Unfortunately this project only has raised $15 since we began so it has been a challenging 3 years but we are not giving up. Our community leaders continue to provide lessons in the streets and around each other's houses and together build a team of performers and writers that have created a show. It is now time to find a venue so we can run this performance and engage the community.
Although $15 doesn't seem much, it was used to purchase some basic materials used to write the latest script and we hope that by getting a venue on side we will make a small income through ticket sales so we can buy some equipment to kick our project off in 2022.
Our vision one day is to build a shack theatre that holds around 250 people and this will cost us around $300,000US but we will do it and hope that one day all our supporters from day 1 will one day come over to South Africa and visit us.
We understand it is a tough time for the arts around the world and we hope to promote and fundraise further so that we make our second report much more fun to read!
