Promote Theatre & Performance to Youths in Africa

Introduction 

From poetry, film writing, dancing and performance. Our inspired community leaders are providing a safe space for young creative people, often for the first time, to join forces with others to explore their passion for performing arts. This project helps keep young people off the streets and provides them with an escape from poverty and depression.

Report 

Providing the support and funding we are working with 4 local young passionate community members to engage the youths in a number of creative sessions but we are limited due to space and costs of renting safe spaces for these youths to learn and express themselves. With the gift of your donations we aim to provide opportunities within the community space but with a long goal to build the first community shack theatre within the township. We have managed to raise $40 so far.
