Initially Virtual Reality was introduced to keep the morale of the kids fighting life threatening illness during the pandemic and beyond. Virtual Reality has been integrated in our Dream Rooms because of its capability to connect the children’s dream in virtual reality, the kids can join one another on an adventure and even interact with family and friends elsewhere.
The Reach For a Dream VR kit boasts a state-of-the-art world-class virtual reality headset, branding and placement case, VR Cover facial interface and foam replacement, Hyperkin Universal VR Masks, as well as skin friendly HMD cleaning wipes – which is neatly packed in a hard travel case with foam.
Through virtual reality the boundaries of space and time are eliminated allowing the children to dream further and reach higher imaginary heights. Where there is freedom for escapism and creativity. The idea is not to replace the actual dream, but to make otherwise impossible dreams experiences come true with the power of VR at the same time ensuring the safety of our dreamers. While ultimately enabling our dream children to dream bigger through an out of body experience.”
The integration of Virtual Reality is a typical example of the use of Information Technology and Communication to ensure that the children’s s mental stimulation and developmental milestones are met regardless of their illnesses.
