Virtual Reality (VR) is the name coined for any system that aims to allow a user to feel as if they are experiencing a particular experience using special perception changing tools. In other words, VR is an illusion of reality, one that exists inside a virtual, software-based world.
We live in a world where technology is in the forefront of everything. Therefore, the foundation believes in the power of making dreams come true during the 4th industrial revolution. Virtual Reality was introduced to keep the morale of the kids fighting life threatening illness during the pandemic and beyond.
The Virtual Reality experiences we offer in our Dream Rooms are designed to open new worlds for our in-hospital dreamers. They provide children who are unable to leave the hospital the opportunity to experience and explore magical places such as the beach, Disney World, or even space. With the support from Eden, a company that specialises in hardware, content and platform-based VR solutions, we are bringing joy and happiness to children when they need it most.
