While work continues on our new community shop and cafe, we have again been collaborating with charity Be Enriched to run Kids Clubs. These events provide food and fun to Lambeth families while schools are closed.
During the February Half Term, children joined us for Valentine's Day themed arts and crafts, while being treated to healthy snacks (plus hot drinks for their parents). All those who joined us had so much fun, and the feedback was amazing:
"The children has a great time and loved doing all the activities which were planned."
In April, we organised two days of enjoyment, with activities including pot painting and seed planting. Again, everyone had a wonderful time, and we got some lovely compliments from the parents, and children.
We are now working to plan our next sessions, and look forward to supporting more children from across the borough.
