After two years of negotiations and five months of hard work, we’re almost ready to open the doors to our new café and community hub!
This has been a true labour of love, and we couldn’t have come this far without your generous donations.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in this vision.
This hub is more than just a café; it’s a place where local people can gather, share knowledge, and feel part of something special. We’ll also be providing training for young people and those between jobs, helping them gain valuable skills and confidence. And with the only community toilet in the area, we’re making this space truly inclusive and accessible for everyone.
We’re so proud of what’s been achieved so far, but we’re not there yet.
To open five days a week and make this hub the thriving heart of the community we know it can be, we still need your help. Specifically, we’re raising funds to hire a part time chef and a programme manager to bring this space to life every day.
With your support, we can ensure the café offers delicious, affordable food while running an exciting calendar of activities for the whole community.
