Supporting Children Through Community Reading Activities
Our community libraries continue to provide valuable opportunities for children to strengthen their reading and learning skills. This reporting period focused on organizing regular reading sessions, storytelling, group discussions, and peer-learning activities.
Children are increasingly becoming active participants rather than simply library visitors. They are encouraged to select books according to their interests, read independently, and share what they have learned with their peers. These activities are helping create greater confidence and enthusiasm around reading.
Community volunteers have played an important role in ensuring that activities remain engaging and inclusive. They support children who experience difficulties with reading while encouraging stronger readers to assist their peers.
Parents have also become more involved by encouraging children to visit the libraries and continue reading at home. Teachers are supporting the initiative by recommending educational materials that complement classroom lessons.
Through these activities, the libraries are becoming important community learning centers rather than simply places where books are stored. We appreciate every donor whose contribution is helping us provide children with resources, encouragement, and opportunities to develop lifelong learning habits.
