It is unacceptable for children in any part of the world to lack equitable access to quality education. In Mogny village, Foumbot area in the west region of Cameroon, Children of the Government Bilingual Primary School Mogni-Kouffen with total enrollment of 700 pupils attend lessons in poorly built plank classrooms. The school lack water, classrooms, tables/chairs, toilets and an office, which are necessities for a conducive learning environment for pupils and their teachers. Children defecate in an open environment and cannot attend classes when its raining due to poor state of classrooms.
Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) is meeting with all the stakeholder groups of Mogny community, including elites and influential community members and basic education family and the civil society to discuss the objectives of the project, expectations and the budget. Upon consultation, the community has agreed to cover 25% of the project cost while IAA and the community plans to start with the construction works as soon as 30% financial goal has been raised. The total estimated cost is $35,000 and IAA have raised $1092 so far, through globalgiving, about 1% ratio. IAA urgently need $33,908 to go and your continued donations and support through globalgiving ensures that we provide quality education to over 700 pupils by constructing and equiping school infrastructure.
Integrated Agricultural Association (IAA) aims to realize this project by the end of 2024 and this would be made possible through your continued donation and commitment in promoting IAA's mission in Cameroon. Thank you immensely for being a valued donor and supporter, your donation ensures that we create meaningful change in our community.
