Education is often hailed as a cornerstone of personal & societal development. One of the impacts of having a good Education is its ability to breed confidence. At Light House School, we are nurturing young lives, students who will one day become leaders for tomorrow. A big thank you to all our Donors who have been a beacon of hope to all our students. With their support, we are constructing additional classrooms.
Activities in the last Quarter : -
To instil in all students the value of good personal hygiene and the maintenance of a clean environment, a Cleanliness Drive was organised. Additionally, it was an exciting and enjoyable sight to see their friends and classmates participating in this activity.
Our students elected their Head girl and boy this quarter. The goal is to provide a platform for our students for leadership & social responsibility. This activity was a success, and the children felt that their voice was heard. The student committee at our Light House school is the voice of the student body. The students will now plan school activities & projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit.
World Environment Day was celebrated by our talented students. They participated in an art competition & a poster making competition, showcasing their creativity and passion for protecting our planet Earth.
On the 15th of August our children celebrated Independence Day of India. With head held high, they hoisted the Indian tricolour Flag. Followed by a celebration with a play, celebrating the spirit of freedom & the bravery of those who fought for our nation’s independence.
August 31st was a day of celebration! We remembered our beloved the Late Founder. Our students were overwhelmed with emotions remembering his love, care and kindness towards them. They sang his favourite songs & danced to it, as a token of gratitude. It was a proud moment for all to be part of this legacy.
It is sad that he is no more with us, but it is with great joy we 'move on' his vision to fruition. We have expanded as a school & are venturing to construct additional Classrooms. This will bring education to more underprivileged students.
Once again, we are grateful to all our wonderful Donors who are a part of Light House school, its vision & Motto to bring light to students.
