The Integral Heart Family School is officially open for the New Year and we are really excited for all that 2020 will be bringing for the whole family.
To just mention some of our projects; our in-school nutrition program will provide 1,500 meals and snacks every month and our classes in English, Spanish, homework help are getting underway at our school. We will also help the kids with extra emotional and psychological support needed to succeed the school year will be given by our team at our school in Antigua.
We will also make sure that all the kids attend to the public schooling and that they have their materials and other items ready such as uniforms, books, and all that they will to get started.
As well as all this, we will continue visiting the families on monthly basis to bring them groceries and make sure all is working well.
This year we will also add a health program provided by SOS Medical Team, based in Guatemala City, and sponsored by For a Better Tomorrow Foundation. Once a month an ambulance with medical material and health professionals will visit our school for a whole day and provide health care to our students and their families.
