Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, Development Alert was able to continue its commitment to environmental conservation through tree planting, community mobilization, and environmental awareness.
Development Alert has supported the planting of more than 14,000 trees as part of efforts to restore degraded areas and encourage communities to protect their natural environment.
Tree planting provides important long-term benefits. Trees can help protect soil from erosion, support biodiversity, provide shade, improve local ecosystems, and contribute to climate resilience. Fruit trees can also provide nutritious food and potential future income for families.
Young people and school children are encouraged to participate in environmental activities so that conservation becomes part of everyday community life. By involving the next generation, we are helping develop young environmental champions who can carry conservation messages into their homes and communities.
Community members are also encouraged to care for newly planted trees and protect them from destruction.
Your support is an investment in a future that extends beyond today's beneficiaries.
Thank you for helping Development Alert plant hope for future generations. Together, we are creating greener, healthier, and more resilient communities across Uganda.
