Dear donors,
Adequate sanitation is an essential component of a functional educational institution. While discussions about school sanitation often focus on pupils, teachers and other school staff also require safe, clean and accessible toilet facilities.
In many underserved communities, schools operate with limited sanitation infrastructure. This creates difficulties for educators who spend long hours at school and may have no reliable facilities to use during working hours.
At Mwanyagiri Primary School, the existing toilet has become inadequate and can no longer effectively serve the needs of the school population.
The situation affects the general school environment and creates additional difficulties for both teaching and non-teaching staff.
Our proposed project will establish a new sanitation facility to improve access to hygienic toilets for the school community.
Improved sanitation will contribute to a more comfortable working environment, reduce unnecessary interruptions and support the effective delivery of educational activities.
Your support will therefore benefit not only the 500-plus pupils but also the teachers responsible for guiding and educating them.
We believe that quality education requires an environment in which both learners and educators can access essential services safely and with dignity.
