Unfortunately, inadequate school sanitation remains a challenge in many rural communities. The absence of suitable toilet facilities can make menstruation difficult to manage and increase the risk of poor hygiene practices.
At Mwanyagiri Primary School, the deteriorating sanitation infrastructure presents additional challenges for girls among the more than 500 pupils.
Through this project, we aim to construct a safe and hygienic toilet facility that provides improved privacy and a more supportive environment for girls.
The facility will help create better conditions for menstrual hygiene management while encouraging girls to attend school regularly and participate confidently in educational activities.
We also recognise the importance of providing appropriate handwashing facilities, clean water and essential hygiene materials.
Your contribution will help us create a school environment where girls' dignity, privacy and educational opportunities are protected.
