Our Playground Project is Completed. Thank YOU!

You've Made Many Children Happy--Thank You!
You've Made Many Children Happy--Thank You!

We are happy to report that we're de-activating our Build a School Playground project because it has been successfully completed. Over 520 students at our northern Uganda school are very much enjoying their new playground. Students, teachers, parents, community members and government officials alike are proud of this playground which is unlike anything most have ever seen before.

It turned out even better than we expected.  As you've seen from the photos, there are swing sets, slides, climbing structures, musical instruments made from metal and wood, play garages and cars, a table and chairs, colorful animal units and more! We've fenced the playground area to protect the equipment from vandalism and help keep the children more secure while they are playing.  We expect that the playground will last for over ten years without any major refurbishing.

We thank you, the donors, for your generosity in making our playground dream become a reality.  For several years, we've had pictures of other people's playgrounds in our office here in Colorado and were wondering how to make our playground dream become reality.  You made that happen for us and for our very precious Ugandan children.  Now the photos we have hanging in our office are of our school children playing on their very own playground!

If you would like to continue to help us as we continue to help spark interest in educating children in this very remote region of northern Uganda, please read more about our newest project at this same school: Build Two Classrooms for Youngest Students - project i.d. 25797.

We're humbled and very grateful for your donations. We cannot say thank you enough!
