HUNDRENDS OF WAR VICTIMS ARE WITHOUT HELP
In Fizi Territory, South Kivu Province, various humanitarian actors have established more than 100,000 people who have fled their homes and are now living without help, this is just in FIZI, among, on top of that current more than 25,000 people have moved up to Kalemie City where they are living without help, these are part of the large number of war victims who have been identified as thousands more are living in areas which are hard to reach, sometimes because there is no network, no road, highly controlled by militia groups.
DRC has the highest number of war victims who remain unknown, who are unassisted and who are suffering on their own. The Government remain silent on the situation of war victims inside the country especially those who are not covered by the Cameras.
While some are forced to stay in what they find on the road such as schools, churches, others have tried to build their own temporal shelters using the very only traditional methods, just for them to survive.
Here is once our efforts to appeal upon you for your generosity to provide shelter to these as they wait in dignity for peace in order to return back to their villages.
