Our Building Plan Continues*

The building project for GABA HOPE FOR KIDS is ongoing. *Our building plan continues* with commitment to provide a safe, permanent center for children and families in Kampala and surrounding areas. This center will support education, training, counseling, and community programs.

- Site secured and cleared for construction
- Architectural plans finalized and approved
- Materials mobilization started for the next phase
- Community engagement and mobilization ongoing
- Stakeholder meetings held with partners and local leaders

Construction is moving to the next stage. Activities include:
- Foundation works
- Procurement of building materials
- Volunteer and labor coordination

GABA HOPE FOR KIDS focuses on removing barriers: fees, hunger, and lack of materials

We combine direct school support with skills and community involvement

Goal: Every child completes school empowered to build a better future

Hunger and lack of materials reduce learning and attendance

Youth leave school without job-ready skills

Families lack income to support education consistently

4. Our Approach to Educational Empowerment*

*Access* - Pay school fees and provide uniforms, books, and kits

*Nutrition* - Provide school meals to improve concentration and health

Quality Learning* - Support teachers and track attendance and performance

Skills for Life* - Train youth and caregivers in vocational and business skills

Community Ownership* - Engage parents and leaders to plan and monitor support

Increased school enrollment and attendance

Children attending class well-fed and with materials

Reduced dropout rates in target schools

Families starting small income activities from skills training
