Build Houses for Poor Rural Villagers in Nigeria

Dear Supporters,

We are grateful to share the first update on our project to provide safe, secure housing for vulnerable rural families in Nigeria. This initiative was created in response to the harsh living conditions faced by families residing in unsafe, overcrowded shelters made from mud, wood, and scrap materials.

Progress So Far

Since the project launch, our team has completed the initial groundwork required to ensure successful implementation. Key activities include:

• Identification of a target rural community with the greatest housing needs
• Preliminary assessment of vulnerable households, prioritizing families with children, elderly members, and persons with disabilities
• Community engagement meetings with local leaders and beneficiaries to ensure transparency, ownership, and cultural appropriateness
• Development of a basic construction plan for 10 simple, durable, and climate-resilient homes

We have also successfully received our first donation, marking an important milestone and validating belief in this life-changing project.

While funding is still at an early stage, these preparatory steps ensure that once resources are available, construction can begin immediately without delays.
