The library helps make the impossible, achievable! In January 2024, we received great news.The Agwata primary school which we help via our donations and through this project, came in 3rd out of 96 primary schools in our district in the 2023 year end national exams! It's a remarkable achievement for a very remote district and a remote school located about 45 kilometers from the South Sudan border.
And if we compare to where this school was in 2010 when it first began, it becomes all the more startling and exciting. When we see our youngest library users seated on chairs at tables in the library looking at books, we begin to understand why our school is able to perform so well on these very important year end national exams.
When we see the Head Teacher, all the other teachers, and Lucy the librarian along with the library, we conotinue to be amazed. We see that these individuals through their dedication and professionalism, and along with the excistence of the library is helping to propel all students forward in their learning. Learning more, and far beyond what might otherwise be expected.
We thank you for making this resource possible! It is truly helping to change the world and to change the trajectory of the lives of the 700 students and 19 teachers at this school!
